Korean pizza meets Japanese katsu in Royal Oak

Pizza Maru & Katsuya - Royal Oak opened in December 2023 as Calgary’s first Korean-style pizza specialty shop, and it’s the kitchen that started it all for our locally operated team. It’s a Korean-Japanese fusion restaurant in the Royal Vista shopping area near Royal Oak Centre: Pizza Maru’s rich-topping Korean pizzas on green tea chlorella dough, Katsuya’s freshly made Japanese katsu, and Korean comfort food such as seasoned chicken, topokki, spaghetti, takoyaki, croquettes and fries. A casual, friendly spot for family dinners, group meals and takeout for Royal Oak, Rocky Ridge and Tuscany.
